computers and games; and like the C64/Amiga/VIC-20 |
Italy | Your logo (brand) is a mix
beetwen vintage and modern art. I had idea to build a modern Pc in the old c64's
case, like you. I am not an informatic engineer, I'm only a vulcan of ideas. Did

wasnt, expect an order or two from ireland on or near your launch date. |
USA | I need to know where, and when
can we find them. I need one right now |
UK | I'm really looking forward to
seeing the Commodore computers being re-released, and I'm thinking of getting an
Amiga 2000 when it comes out. It sounds like it's going to be very versatile,
and will definitely be different to owning a Mac (I own one of the last PPC G5
models, and it's pretty obsolete now...), or a PC. Plus the battle between Apple
and Microsoft has grown boring now, and I certainly want something unique and
usable, and the Workbench platform sounds VERY promising compared to the OSX and
Windows. The option of being able to install Windows sounds quite appealing as
well. Plus I hope software and hardware compatibility shouldn't prove to be a
problem. Really looking forward to when these revamped classics are released. |
USA | Looking forward to princing and
availability. I still have my C=64.... |

USA | I still have my old Commodore 64
and the old 5.25" floppy drive from when i was 4 y/o. Last time i checked it
still worked perfectly. and is now residing in it's original packaging. |
Italy | I hope you to be the ones who
will bring back our dreams. We are not IBM's, we are not Microsoft's! |

childhood |
UK | I got to have this C64. PS.
Commmodore C64c is missing in old Classic Models I had C64 with longer back and
more flat case, more creamy colour and lighter buttons. |
USA | Will Commodore be looking for
developers to put games on the new systems? Either porting titles to Workbench
and/or doing exclusive development for Commodore? Also, would Commodore have any
interest in a motion control device similar to that of Wii or Playstation?
Thanks! (Contact details removed) |
USA | Please advise any update going on
with you |
Netherlands | Great work guys! I can't
wait 'till this hits the stores. (Don't make it too expensive :) ) |

an e-mail last week and no reply. (reply sent) I would like to send you the
document (PDF) which I wrote for Amiga International back in 1997 which made me
be accepted as beta tester of OS 3.5 and 3.9 . It contains useful ideas based on
Windows 95 and some Amiga software available in the old days. I would also like
to offer myself to help as possible. I could beta test OS 5. Thanks! Kind

which I likes alot in the 80s/90s - these cases will be a hit, aside from any
interior - they are just the perfect, stylish, HiFi-Like component-like cases
many people are looking for (and, till now, just finding mostly ugly
pseudo-futuristic silverish stuff). Keep on the good work, keep me updated and -
open the shop quick. Amiga was my first girlfriend. Best reards! : ) |

done! I'm anxious for computers that actually deserve the title. Put in some
unreal features like the old multiple resolutions at once, being able to use
multiple joysticks, keyboards, and mice simultaneously. To be able to type in
two different documents with two keyboards simultaneously would be so cool! And
being able to use once keyboard to type in different documents in different
programs or os's at once with different font settings. Multiple simultaneous
launching of the same program with different settings. 2 gigs of non writeable
flash rom for all os's so corruption is impossible. Have unreal support for high
res displays, like 4 displays at a res of 12,000 by 9,000 simultaneously! Let's
rip it up man! ANd how about solid state raid 0 on the A2000 for speed. Mke the
os fit into 1 meg of ram so the rest is free for playing 16 dvd movies at once
without a frame drop, so you can change resolutions without frame dropping, and
the res changes with live zoom instead of flicker. Let's make it so great that
it will make everyone else drool in envy! Maybe a 20,000 rpm raid 0 setup. Let's
speed it up boys and girls! And last but not least, make the whole system
scriptable and recordable, so it really works! Not like mac os leopard. Make
this work even inside an emulated operating system, so the system would watch
all actions inside other systems, and still be able to record it and play it
back. Of course the recording has to be action specific, and not click location
specific, if you know what i mean! If you want more tips, email me! Best wished
to y'all guys and gals! |
Australia | THe Commo Phonix needs a
commo key. no moar windows |
USA | I am an Amiga fan. Can't wait
when I can get the new one!!! |
Canada | 1st pc = Vic 20 2nd pc =
Commodore 64 3rd pc = Amiga 500 Now looking to purchase Amiga x1000 |
Italia | wow |
Philippines | My very first exposure to
the world of computers is with my Commodore C64C. I wanted to have an Amiga 500
back then but I can't afford one since I was only a kid. But now I build my own
system - PCs of course specifically designed for gaming. I'm so happy that a
company has revived the Commodore name once again. |
Norway | I am an old C64 enthusiast - I
learned my assembly and programming skills with this wonderful machine - and now
I am contemplating a career in programming. A PC- and C64-in-a-box seems like
quite a toy! |
Spain | We were dealers of Commodore in
Spain 30 years ago. |
Germany | I am very curious what the
future of Commodore and Amiga will be.......please keep me informed.... |
USA | I still have 2 Commodore 64
(original) computers which still work along with many of the attachments, and
software for them. I used a 5 1/4 floppy disk drive with it and it works great
also. As a matter of fact, I still have some of the magazines with programs for
this computer. I loved the graphics on this computer and many of the games which
worked greatly. I had these computers since buying one new, and another used
during the 1980's. The only item I have which is obsolete is the modem which was
too slow. |
Germany | Great ... would love to see
my old A1000 in you style and actual components. thx for the great idea !!! |

USA | More Info |
USA | I have a boat load of fond
childhood memories about the Commodore64. I'd love to relive a few! |
USA | The Commodore line of computers
featured iconic designs, and I'm glad to see that some of these will once again
be available! |
USA | My very first computer was the
original Commodore 64 computer. Now I have another C64(second hand), my original
died. Is Commodore going to do anything for the perhaps thousands of Commodore
64 fans(if not more, or much more) who still have the original working
equipment? Perhaps a newer drive that works with the original C64 with or
without special adapters. Fan's have already succeeded, it would be great to see
some official support on directly interfacing newer drive technology with
original C64/C128 equipment. I know I would get it. I like the sounds of the new
Commodore 64X, it looks promising. |
USA | Can't wait to hear more! |
Argentina | I like a commodore, please
visit my site www.commodoremania.com.ar Thanks! |

Australia | lookin forward to seeing an

the box C64, never thought of transforming it to an Atom based machine. Kudos! |
Deutschland | JUHUUUUU!!! ENDLICH!!!
COMMODORE IS BACK!!! Ich kann es kaum erwarten... |
USA | I've been a Commodore programmer
as far back as I can remember ... Commodore PET, VIC20, C64, Amiga 2000 and
CDTV. It's been a real kick hearing that my old stomping grounds are making a
much-needed return. I truly hope this company brings the Commodore name back to
the forefront. |
Australia | cant wait for a local
reseller here in AU. One point to note, the black Amiga cases, without an
embedded (like the classic A500 case) AMIGA or the "tick" somewhere on the front
of the case look too generic. Maybe on the round power button? see if the
manufacturer can embed the "tick" there? or maybe on the bottom of the case, the
glossy part, can have AMIGA etched (laser etched) on it? this will give the
cases individual look. good luck guys. |
USA | I own original equipment: A500,
A2000, A3000, A4000, C64. I'm VERY excited and interested in what is going on
here on this site! |

Nederland | c64 was vroeger een groot

Amiga 500 Fantasy. Would be nice if one came with a decent graphics card for
gaming as that was a strong point of C64 & Amiga. |
USA | I had 2 C64's (one was the newer
slimmer white one) a C128 and a Amiga 500. I am glad you are bringing them back!
But I also hope you come up with a new line that blows Apple and other PCs away. |
Italy | great! |

my garage. Can't wait for the new machines and look forward to new announcements |
Germany | How many people I've to kill
to get one C64x? |
USA | I had one of the first 100 C=64s

nowadays but I'd love to own one of the 'new' 64's to carry out my old school
Commodore gaming as well as my usual PC tasks.. |
USA | This is gonna be FUN ! I have two
"vintage" Commodore 64's in their original boxes. Complete w/LOTS of original
software, a cassette deck and ever a 5.25 floppy drive. What fantastic machines.

Great Britain | I own, collect, buy,
repair, and above all ENJOY, real original Commodore machines. They are the
biggest passion in my life: I am typing this on a modern Commodore Gaming PC;
right next to a fully working Commodore 4032 PET from the late '70's. If you
think I can help in any way, please contact me. P.S. Please place me top of the
waiting lists for a brand new Commodore 64! Very Kind Regards, Michael |
Italy | I want to buy an Amiga
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOOOOONNNNNN! My opinion
is that you have to do a new A500 also in the same original shape keyboard and
all models must be available also in white. Original logo is the best: very good
idea! We are in your hands Alessandro |
Australia | Absolutely fantastic news,
I will be buying one for sure - the future amiga concept with built in DVD ROM
looks incredible. Please build these machines! |
Germany | I can't wait to see both the
Commodore 64 and the Phoenix in action. One brings back meories the other looks
to the future. |
England | Hi there, I am delighted to
hear that the Amiga is making a comeback! I still have hundreds of original
Amiga games and would love the ability to play classics such as Civilization AGA

make sure the huge fanbase in the UK is able to buy your new products. All the
best, Tim |

USA | I love me some commodore!! My
first computer ever and always my favorite!! I've still got mine! |
USA | This is a great day. I was one of
the first group to receive a C64. Mine still had chips piggy backed to run while
final PC boards were put into production. I spent many hours with a local
vendor, colorizing & updating PET basic programs so people had somthing to run
as the C64 rolled out. Keep me informed! |
Germany | I can't wait to see the new
Commodore 64 and the Phoenix in action. :D It will be a blast^^ |
Germany | Hi, is the new commodore 64

USA | I bought my C64 in Sears for $699
- I'd pay that much to get that feeling again! |
USA | C-64 was my second computer,
right after ZX Spectrum. It would be nice to have a breadbox replica on my desk. |
Canada | I am very pleased to see the
rebirth of the commodore amiga and c64 computers |
USA | Brings me back to my childhood.
My Commodore 128 was my most prized possession. I would play games, program, and
eventually build hardware to use with my system. By the end ( early 2000’s) I
had a 512k expansion, Geos 128, 2 1571 drives (never could find a working 1581)
and both a 40 and an 80 column screen (code in 80 columns and run the graphics
in 40 columns mode, side by side, alternating between code and execution). I'd
love to see a recreation of the 128 or 128D. The new Amiga 1000 isn't too far
off from the 128D, actually... |
USA | I learned to type on a C64. I
learned to code on a C64. I taught how to code on a C64. I still own a working
C64 with floppy drives. The rebirth of this legendary computer? Mazel tov! |
Greece | Hell, it was about time!! Get
those commodore machines to the people quick! :P |
Germany | cant wait to get my hands on
one of those mashines |
Germany | The Amiga 1000 Case looks

Commodore 64 becomes available again. |
Switzerland | I like the design of C64x
and A 1000 ver much. I hope Commodore will sell the computers in Europe very
soon. |

it now!!! :o) |
USA | Awesome!!! Finally, C64 is coming
back from the ashes! |

to the geekhack community alone (http://geekhack.org). |
Russia | I like C64! |
Italy | Keep going.. |
Australia | It'll be great to have
Commodore back in Action in Australia. You guys should also set up facebook and

available for purchase. |
UK | I would like to see an Commodore
Amiga A1200 based pc! I still have my Amiga & Amiga CD32! I hope Commodore USA
make this work! |
Finland | I Want A Commodore! |
USA | Keep me posted. Been a huge
Commodore fan since 84. My advice to you is "don't over complicate this". There
are a ton of 40-somethings out there that will buy for nostalgia purposes if you
don't price yourselves out of the market. In the 80's commodore was known for
it's bullet proof hardware. Many competitors got shipped back in boxes while
commodores remained plugging away on desks. I'd stick to that edict and maybe
start with a Celeron release. Cheap, plentiful, and bullet proof. My input, for
what it's worth. Regards, Bill. |
Belgium | So tempting |
USA | I am so happy to see this
happen!!! |
USA | So excited about this new
venture! |
Germany | I like the idea to buy the
new C64 or the Phoenix when ist is ready for shipping! |
USA | I can kill for the new c64. I
NEED one. |
UK | Even though I build 'modern' PC's
for a hobby, I have always loved the retro computers from the 1980's. I used to
own a Sinclair ZX Spectrum (which I loved) but always wanted to own a Commodore
64. Its great to see that you have brought back so many happy memories of the
early days of home computing! I'll be interested in getting one of these
systems! Hope PayPal will be a way of paying on your site?! |
Germany | it lives, it really lives! |
Ireland | I thought it was a joke! I'm
a commodore lover and collector and I'm looking forward to see all the new
products and buy some new c64 version from you! Keep going guys! Good job! (name
removed) |
Australia | Can't wait Forums the C64 |
UK | Very interested to hear about the
PC64. I hope is available for sale in the UK very soon! ;-) ... |
USA | Interested in seeing prices for
the new Commodore and what the specs will be for the Amigas, as neither appears

just came flooding back, most of it featured a commodore logo.. i've got to have
a C64.. |
Italy | yes yes yes...the

Deutschland | Endlich ist Commodore mit
einem überzeugendem Konzept zurück. |
USA | Looking forward to owning a new
C64 and Amiga. Long time fan. Good luck, guys! :D |
USA | Can't wait to see these machines
come back. I always loved the Commodore and Amiga computers. |
Hungary | Hello! I'm very happy to hear
again about Commodore! I waiting for the new products, and i want buy one. I'm a
telecommunication adviser, but next year i would like to open a new market with
commodore products. Please refer me, when i can buy any new commodore products.
Thank you this feeling again! Have a success next year! Regards, Attila |
USA | They need to lock down the specs
for the pc64 for a while so that developers can get the most out of the system.
That's partly why the original c64 was so big, because it didn't change too fast
and allowed devs to learn to utilize it fully. But this sounds pretty neat. |
USA | Hurry Up Bob Bigart |
USA | I was one of the game developers
for the C64 back in 1983. Can't wait to get one of these! |
Spain | I love Commodore Amiga. I had a
Amiga3000 and always dreamed of a resurgence from the ashes like a phoenix --

belgique | il y a du miracle dans l'air
je suis un grand croyant commodore et amiga ... j'ai eu un c64 pendant longtemps
et par la suite un amiga 500 |
Secret under water base | Guys, this
site is amazing and I CAN'T WAIT TO GET that SWEET A1000 !! But barry, Amiga OS
5 ? (:D) but what about hypernon and the Amiga X1000 with OS 4 ? Did you granted
the rights ? and is it a new os from scratch ? Keep up the good works ! |
Spain | The Commodore PC64 is an
awesome idea, you should also think about recovering the 1702 monitor. |
Italy | Speriamo bene... |
Italy | It's nice to see that Commodore
is coming up again in Amiga production. Please try to invest in developing
hardware and work toghether with (name removed) to have a new competitor in the
Computer world!! Google is doing the same, I believe we are near to a big change
in Computer world!! |
United Kingdom | I look forward to
seeing what developments are set for the future of Amiga and Workbench 5.
Hopefully Workbench 5 will contain all the features which made Amiga OS a
pleasant and intuitive operating system. |
France | Interessé par le nouveau C64.
Salutations. |
USA | I can't believe it's happening,
modern technology using ideas from one of computing's greatest era's. LONG LIVE
COMMODORE!! |
USA | Cant wait to see this stuff hit
production! |
USA | Looks interesting. |
Canada | I have been following your
rebuilding of the Commodore brand for some time now and wish you all the best. I
had been involved with the Amiga platform at the time of the bankruptcy of the
original firm greatly disappointing me(as well as costing me a great deal of
money). I am very happy to see the involvement of NewTek as one of your
partners. I have a great deal more to say, but will leave it to some future
opportunity to do so. I'll bet you had an interesting couple of weeks now. I'm
sure you now know the meaning of the word chaos. |
Austria | !!! Legends Never Die !!! |
UK | Really excited, commodore ALIVE
again!!!!! |
Italy | The new A2000 rulez! :D Anyway
I want more info about the Workbench 5.0! |
France | Good luck, it's the very last
chance for anything AMIGA to come back. Don't screw it up like everyone before
you did ! |
Germany | Wonderfull.I Search so long
an amiga of x86 basis. Greatings Out Germany. Sorry For my bad english. |
USA | Looking mainly to use AROS on
this hardware. I understand your position on AROS, but I hope for the best. |
USA | When? :-) |
USA | Still waiting for the store to
open........ I need a C64 |
France | Gimme my C64 :o) |
Canada | Good morning! Nice to see the
new site up and running. I look forward to seeing more of the new Commodore
Products! |
UK | Nice looking website, much better
than the last effort. So when do you start selling your non-Amiga Amiga? I mean
it doesn't appear to come with the Amiga Operating System so I am real confused
how it can be an Amiga without AmigaOS - thats just not possible? How can it run
Windows applications and Amiga applications at the same time? What makes your
corresponding system(s) so unique that it deserves the name Amiga? :S |
Spain | We want a new ppc amiga with
its custom chips. We dont want a pc with an amiga carcase. So take care XD |
Italy | Good... When an Amiga with Yoz
Montana design and Workbench 5.0? |
UK | good to hear the amiga coming back |
Germany | Hi there, Great ideas, please
keep me posted. Am keen to see the new C64 in action. |
Canada | So glad you're working on a
Commodore brand computer! |
USA | worked for Creative Computer for
years! owned 64s. 128. Amiga 500. 2000, 3000 and a 3000 tower! Very glad to hear
this!! Long Live Commodore!!!!! |
Germany | Please...let it be
affordable!!! |
USA | LET's ROLL!!!! I LIVED for my
C-64!! I know things are a LOT different now, and Commodore is changed hands a
number of times. With that said, if your machine will handle all of the
Operating Systems you listed, I'm TOTALLY. Do all of us and yourself a favor and
keep the price points as low as possible. Get as many units out the door, and
start a buzz. Then work on a Tower system!!! Nuff said, and GOOD LUCK !!! |
USA | I'm a Software Test Engineer who
grew up using a Commodore 64 to hash out programs in BASIC (those were the
days). If you need any beta testers I would love to get involved. |
USA | C64 was my very first computer! I
eventually donated it to a local school system. I am curious to see this
reincarnation. I hope you do not make the same mistakes as the Amiga and its
many attempts at reincarnation. |
USA | I want to know when these are
available with the Comm0dore name... |
Israel | Waiting forward for news... |
USA | Looks Cool! |
USA | Really cool! I'd love to purchase
this when it comes out! |
USA | WOW! I learned every thing I know
about computers shortly after their release in 1982 |
Australia | Hot for it! Does it get a
nice "Commodore" Logo as well? Lovely to see a bread-box machine again!
Seriously miss it. |
USA | The Commodore VIC-20 was my first
computer; moved to a C=64 when that came out, on to the 128, 128D, and finally
my last was an Amiga 1200, of which I think this more resembles (as the A-1200
had internal HDD) ... great to see this type of computer making a comeback --
just don't price it out of everybody's pockets! |
Germany | Nice ... |
USA | WE WANT OUR C-PHX NOW! :) We at
COMMODORE PUERTO RICO Group in Facebook will be very happy to hear any news
regarding the Commodore Phoenix!
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=174773637821&ref=mf |
Australia | Looks very interesting.
Will you be releasing them in (or at least shipping them to) Australia? |
Denmark | I looooooove the new design
and that Amiga will been relaunced on the marked again, just in a faster and
newer desig.. BUT if you really should make the amiga complete, you should also
retune the old amiga system that we used at that time, then it will be the best
complete amiga ever.. :) I'm surely going for one when it comes to Denmark.. :) |
USA | I own a 67 still today, and love
it. I cant wait till the new one comes out, I hope there will not be a long wait
for the bare bones. |
Australia | Just want to know the price
(when available). |
USA | I love the idea of seeing
Commodore products again. I used to have a 64, 64b, and 64c and loved them all.
I can't wait for this new pc to come out and buy one. |
Australia | WOW |
Denmark | :D |
USA | I have owned every commodore from
the VIC 20 on. I thought they were the best. |
UK | I'd love to get my handson one of
these as part of an experimental art installation I'm doing. Prototype work.
Please contact me when you've got them actually for sale, with prices. :) -Dx |
Poland | im interested this i love
commodore. |
Norway | as i said on FB: at least this
got me inspired. I really want something like this. But with a hi-quality audio
input/output (own board?), video outs (replacable?), nvidia graphics (demoscene
standard), room for modding in stuff - perhaps even one without a mainboard so
it can work as a chassis for an hobbyist C-One/Minimig/Whatever... |
Australia | STREWTH!!!!
FANTASTIC....... When, and how much? Regards, (Name Removed) |
Germany | Thanks! |
Argentina | I´d like to buy one of this
new Commodores! |
USA | All specs are real enticing
except for amount of memory. It this could support up to 32GB THEN this would be
the cats meow for next 5 to 7 years. Having 4 Gigs right now is OK but when two
dimms with 32 gets cheaper to buy then this computer could be REALLy worthwhile
if adding two 16GB dimms within the next 2 years. Then it would be a GREAT
computer for 5 more years. |
Sweden | Interested about when
Commodore is gonna be released in Sweden and if it's gonna be affordable. Or if
it's going to be possible to order it directly from US, when and price. |
USA | Really loved my Commodore
Computers many years ago. I think that you will sell of lot of these. |
USA | cant wait to order mine! AGAIN! |
Canada | Will this be on sale in
Canada? |
USA | Commodore 4Everrrrr! |
Denmark | Great to see you bring back
the old design! |
USA | GO COMMODORE!! |
USA | Price it right and I will buy it. |
USA | Fond memories of the original. |
USA | Looking for something like your
product to go back to. Currently use a laptop for home and business and want to
have a dedicated system just for the house. Your product looks like the perfect
solution. Besides, I my first personal computer was a Commodore 64. |
USA | First computer was a Vic-20, then
a C64, then an Amiga 500, finally a Amiga 2000. Looking forward to this. |
USA | about time!!!! |
USA | Interested in this unit |
USA | This looks very promising and
should do well for the company. Great find for me! |
USA | Very interesting concept. If the
price is right I am in for one! You know...this is the perfect thing to sell on
woot.com... |
USA | Please notify me once pricing is
available |
USA | Awesome idea. I can't wait for it
to be reality. |
Norway | My first computer was the C64,

USA | The Phoenix looks fantastic.
Can't wait to be able to order one. |
USA | Have a great day! :) |
USA | I would like to be informed when
the comodo becomes available for public purchase. |
USA | Cool idea! |
Finland | I was in love then, and I
will be again! :-) |
USA | Had one then, loved it. Might
want one now. |
USA | Don't bother with the Commodore
name if you can't run all Amiga software. Games alone won't cut it. |
USA | Having owned just about one (or
more) of everthing Commodore ever made... I can't wait for your new machine! I
can see and feel the "spirit" of the original C-64 in the design. |
USA | Had a C64 as a child and loved
EVERY moment that I spent with my family with the system. Load "I <3 C64",8,1
Love the new look and specs, and am EXCITED to see more. Please Keep me
informed. |
USA | Interested in becoming a Sales
Rep. for the new company. |
Canada | Wow! I miss my C64! :) |
USA | Sign me up! |
USA | I have fond memories of my
c-64.... |
USA | Looking forward to info on the
new computer. |
USA | Looking to buy when first
available. Have a long loving history with the 64... |
USA | I would like to be informed when
the new computer is available for sale. |
USA | Looks very interesting. |
USA | Sinclair ZX-81, VC-20 (Not VIC
20) then, finally, my C=64. I miss it so much. This sounds like you have created
the perfect machine. Best of luck. (name removed) |
USA | Can't wait to buy one! |
USA | I grew up with a C64 and a C128,
which I still have. |
USA | ...gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme
gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme
gimme gimme ... 8-) |
USA | It would be perfect if you made
it in Commodore Brown. |
USA/UK | Hello, Please keep me up to date
with any releases and please let me know if there are any jobs at commodore USA.
I am a software developer but would gladly clean cars to be part of Commodore:)
(It's the memories of my childhood you see:) Many thanks, (name removed) |
USA | I read about you at
TheRegister.co.uk. As a die-hard Commodore fan (VIC-20, C64, Amiga 500, Amiga
4000), I'll be keeping an eye on this. :D |
Australia | Awesome! When can I buy
one? |
New Zealand | As a former Commodore
employee (West Chester), I find this to be particularly AWESOME! |
USA | The Commodor 64 was my first
computer, the Commodor Phoenix my be my last ... it has been a long road and
many miles back to the beginning. Not a NETBOOK - so very cool. YES!!! |
UK | Can be ordered and shipped to a US
address if shipping to the uk is a problem. |
USA | Looking good, here's hoping for a
successful product launch! |
USA | Love IT! ... I still have my
original C64 from waaaay back then!... heh |
USA | Wow! |
Australia | Yes it must easy to see all
the old geeks coming out. (I am 58yrs) Great job. |
USA | Looking forward to the release! |
USA | I can't wait to buy one! The only
thing .. I did not see my beloved Commodore logo at the top left hand side. I
really hoped to see the iconic 'C=' where it would get notice :) |
Canada | Congratulations and All
Success with your project ... would like to know when Commodore64 is on sale ...
How are You planning for sales in Canada? |
Australia | looks fantastic including
linux ... |
USA | Let me see the bottom line |
UK | Looks good |
USA | Owned an old C=64, 128 and 128D.
Using Ubuntu currently. |
UK | Nice one, how about a version in
the original Commodore colours, with the ANSI codes printed under the keys? |
USA | The idea is great and it is
something that I was looking for. As a developer I want to have a powerfull
system that I can carry around and plug in to any monitor that I could have
somewhere. So far I am carrying a laptop with me to get all tasks done, but I
like the idea to have such a system. (And yeah - I loved my C64 with 1541, Plus4
with 1551 and later the Amiga!) Hopefully it will not be to expensive when you
get it ready for shipping! |
Ireland | I hope charge repectable
shipping prices for international orders. |
Sweden | I am very fond of dogs and my
first computer was a Commodore PC. I am using Ubuntu and this new model will
have all what I would need. Please, send me information when i can purchase one. |
Italy | Being a former CBM64 and Amiga
owner I'm interested in anything CMB related ;-) |
Finland | Nice! Want one! |
England | I can't wait for the release
of this - I've always wanted one of the old computer names to start releasing
things again |
UK | I was always a lover of the C64
and Amiga. It had a neat compact design, easy to use, packed with power. It was
sadly missed when Commodore collapsed. It is nice to see someone taking the
design back into hand and giving us a computer that has such a sleek and elegant
design. I can't wait to see how much it is going to cost; I'd better start
saving now as I would love one of these. Great work guys (and gals) |
Germany | Great, i was a big fan of the
c64 and will have this one directly. Is there a partner in germany? |
USA | Looks interesting |
USA | As an old KayPro guy, I'm smiling
at the possibility of getting a (new) Commodore! |
Netherlands | What about availability
in Europe? |
USA | Looks cool! |
USA | Please keep me posted on your
all-in-one computer. It's a WONDERFUL idea. But I can't find anything stating
how much it weighs....? |
Austria | Looks good but i want one in
Austria, in English with Ubuntu please When? regards |
USA | Awesome! |
UK | Please keep me updated, will this
ship to the UK? |
USA | I love Commodore! Please make
sure that you add the Commodore badge to it though, please!!! Good Luck with it
too! |
Canada | WARMS THE COCKLES OF MY HEART TO
SEE THE OLD COMMODORE LOGO BACK AGAIN!!!I'M DEFINATELY INTERESTED IN BECOMING AN
OWNER! (name removed) |
USA | It's excited to see this name
resurrected. I look forward to seeing what the future of this company has to
offer! |
USA | Will this be able to run the old
64 games or come w/ an emulator? |
USA | WANT! |
Poland | Waiting for this product |
Ireland | really looking forward to the
new machine cant wait to get it |
UK | looks great! Cant wait to buy it |
Netherlands | Thank you for fighting for the
spirit of commodore. After all the chaos in the years that passed by..(not
blaming you) I'm glad to finally see good things happen and i hope it will
continue in the right way forever...Commodore never dies... Kind regards.
(name removed). |
USA | I rocekd a commodore 64 back in
the 80's. would love to stay on top of when these are released. |
Sweden | Great! Is there a plan to
introduce this in Sweden as well? |
Venezuela | Been looking for a C64 type
box since I switched to a Kaypro II, then .... C64 was the most efficient
desktop design. Now, add a monitor and a mouse. Great idea. Where, when, how
much, etc? |
Colombia | I love commodore. I started
my computer's experience 25 years ago with Commodore Plus 4, after Commodore 64
and finally Commodore 128. I have my 128. I never see the machines like these.
For me is very nice to know that it's possible to have the new releases of
Commodore. |
USA | I missed out the first time they
were available on the market, I do not want to miss out this time they come out. |
AZ, USA | How can I be one of the First
to get One !!!! |
Germany | Suuuuper Nice !!!!!! |
Barbados | Commodore brings back
memories of floppies and tape machines and GEOS. I hope you can get it on the
market. As you can guess I used these machines extensively in "days of yore". I
hope you can bring it back to the marketplace. Those were great little machines
(c16, c64, c128 and the amiga. Thanks guys |
Romania | I already have 2 C64/8bit ...
for sure I need one with 64bit architecture. Great thing ... it runs every great
OS and especially OSX. Hope the prices will be low enough. |
Germany | Really sexy case :) |
USA | I loved my C64, C128 and Amiga
computers! Can't wait for the new system--I will send my son to college with it! |
USA | This looks interesting, especialy
the Amiga emulation. |
UK | Commodore are BACK!! |
USA | Glad to see you guys are back! I
had a 128! |
USA | Please I need pricing and an
order form as soon as the PC becomes available. |
USA | Good luck with this! Looking
forward to seeing what you come up with. |
UK | This new offering from Commodor
has so much potential. Build into the design a keyboard that can with stand a
class room environment and your nail the education sector |
Netherlands | Keep up the good work, I
loved that machine..... |
USA | Good luck with your launch! |
UK | It's looking great guys. I hope
it's released in the UK. Bluetooth/ IR would be good so it could be used as a
Media Center. Long live Amiga. |
USA | Awesome to see my first PC's
brand name resurrected... I still have and use an A1000 for the games and video
captioning capabilities. |
Poland | super |
USA | I am interested let me know when
and where I can see one. |
Ireland | Hi there, I still have an
original C64 running... i'm a fanatic. Please keep me updated. Thanks Shay |
Belgium | Looks like amazing stuff!! |
UK | I think that the new machine needs
to be slimmer at the back. |
USA | I have owned many Commodore
products including C64 and Amiga. Amiga was way ahead of it's time. |
USA | looks cool (is this for real?)
why no price estimates? Good choice of Ubuntu for the base OS. |
Finland | I am going to buy it, and use
it with many different and cool things like music mixing etc. |
Canada | I'd like to know about your
prices. PS: Will you have the chickenhead logo? C=. :-) |
Spain | I have been an Amiga user for
many years and created hundreds of tracks with good old protracker, then moved
to PC for work and also music. Still got my A1200 and boots up quicker than
windows, by far. I am interested in importing your product to the Spanish market
as I run a computer reselling business, if that's possible. |
Australia | I miss my C64 and my Amiga
:) |
USA | The C64 was my first computer. My
dad brought one home for us when I was 6 years old, and I loved it. My son is
almost 4, and I'm thinking about continuing the tradition. |
UK | I'll like to know more about
Phoenix and when it hits the market. |
Sweden | looking forward to the date we
can order it in Sweden. Best wishes (name removed) |
Belgium | keep me in touch !... |
UK | too cool. Good luck/ |
UK | When will the Phoenix be available
to us Brits? Looks ideal for LAN parties, although I do have concerns about
airflow and upgrade options. |
USA | Saw this on the Register website
and remembered how much I loved my C64. Looking forward to testing this in a
business environment with Virtual Desktops. |
Germany | Me wants ;) |
Germany | An old "commodore 64" fan |
Sweden | Nice defently going to buy
this |
USA | Can't wait!!!! |
USA | i am interested in which
demographics you will be targeting. I see that there can be many applications
for such a device. I am also curious as to what the pricing will be. If kept
fairly low to allow large volumes to be sold, it may be a very good business
computer to replace the towers under every desk. much better than a thin client/
less bulky than a tower. I see huge potential. |
UK | Brill cant wait. please can you
tell me if you will be selling it in the UK. Regards Anthony |
USA | Love it! cant wait to see pricing
on your machine. I run a home based pc repair and sales business and i have
several clients that may be interested in the all new COMMODORE! |
USA | I want one and please email the
price when it launches (name and details removed) |
UK | Do you plan to sell in the UK? |
USA | I grew up on the 64, I'll be
watching for your prices to go live and see what you can offer. |
Canada | Ah memories, started on the
vic 20 and moved up to the commodore. Good to see it back. |
Netherlands | i love to see C= coming
back |
USA | How much? If it's the right price
I will purchase one and put OSX on it. |
USA | Looking forward to your release
date. |
Ecuador | I remember commodore. |
USA | I still have a working Commodore
64. Of course my watch has more memory than that machine. I also have the tape
drive...to much more to list. |
USA | I hope you have chosen components
that work well with Linux easily. Sounds good so far. I am interested in :
Ubuntu 10.04 Prefer black Wi-fi b/g/n Bluetooth Is the hard drive mounted on a
shock absorbing mechanism? Can you install any off-the-shelf solid state drive? |
The Netherlands | Good luck! Not
available in stores? Perhaps a take away counter somewhere in the US? (We travel
a lot) We work on Apple computers and we think Commodore could become their
equal partner in many ways. That's a compliment. Renate |
Deutschland | Top |
USA | I work at a Walmart in the
electronics department for 7 years now. I can't wait to see it here. I had one
of the original commodores, so you know I am not a youngster. |
UK | Hello! I just read news about new
commodore! It's fantastic!!! I still have 2 C64C fully working at my home. I'll
probably never sell them. Will you sell them overseas? That will be great. |
Italy | This operation sounds like a
great return for the Commodore brand: in Italy there are lots of users loving
C64 in 80s (mee too, I started with a Vic20). Would you sell or deliver the
Commodore 9100 in Italy? Our country market will surely appreciate this new
Commodore machine. Thanks a lot in advance for your attention (name and details
removed). |
USA | Please keep me informed.
Long-time Amiga user and writer. |
USA | Are the keyboard and touchpad
easily replaceable or is it an expensive pain as with laptops? |
USA | love to know as much as i can on
this.. |
USA | Can't wait for this! |
Netherlands | Interesting concept.
Maybe the RS-232 ports are a bit strange to have and I would miss somehow eSata
and/or Firewire... but it's not a big deal anyway. In my there is a fairly
interesting niche for all-in-ones (or nearly) as a big part of the population
live in small apartments. I'm enthusiast about the product and hope it will be a
big success!!! |
Netherlands | Are you looking for local
resellers also? |
USA/Malaaysia | I owned one of the
originals, can't wait to have it back! |
Germany | My first computer was a C64
and I miss it very much. I have so much fantastic memories about my first steps
with it... |
USA | Great to see this machine back; I
learned how to code on this computer. |
USA | Sounds good, can't wait to see
what else you are going to come up. |
Canada | This is awesome! Keep up the
great work, looking forward to hearing more about this! |
USA | In the 80's I was selling
Commodore 64's and Amiga computers. We were an authorized Commodore/Amiga
dealer. The name was Valint Inc. I am quite interested in the new company and
it's direction. Thanks (name removed) |
UK | Really interested in this computer
and any new news would be awesome as i love the Commodore name. I have owned mot
of the Commodore computers in the past and they have all works without any
problems. |
Costa Rica | We will like to get
information of how to sale commodore here in Costa Rica. |
Italy | Wonderful idea,i need only one
information : how much noise does your PC ? The original C64 was totally silent:
working late at night it's a must! TIA Marco |
Canada | Go |

USA | YAAAAAY! |
Canada | I still have my original
commodore 64 and love it but there needs to be a modern updated version with the
latest hardware that's easy to upgrade. Not like the mac mini, I've used both
windows and linux for along time, my main desktop is ubuntu 9.10. Is there any
thought to having an ubuntu based commodore linux OS?. |
Canada | plz |
USA | hi, How easy is it to swap out
and upgrade the pc hardware. Thanks. Brad. |
Puerto Rico | Yes I am interested in
becoming a distributor /dealer for this product. My experience with the
commodore product line is not new to me. I was the commodore dealer and service
center for Puerto Rico and the caribbean for over 25 years. I have a very wide
knowledge of OS such as windows, CBM 64, amiga OS and a little of linus. If you
have a distributor or dealership package,I would be very interested in looking
at it. |
Germany | It is wunderful a new
comodore. I had learning basic of this computer, but now nobody will know about
it. The best of this computer was the idea you can take it on every TV. Goes it
with the new one too? And can i take an old datasette with this new computer?
The best idear is you can learning to write a program. I thinking it was the
best learning computer for the school. I see the old things do not work. But how
much is the price from this computer. I hope you can answer in German, because my
english is not very well. |
Ireland | Hi, I'm very keen to see the
new C64. this is amazing news. what are the costs associated with ordering from
Ireland? Do you plan to have distribution in Europe in the near future? Regards
Peter |
Sweden | Hello again:) I wonder how
much the freight cost and other expenses will be for a Commodore if sent to
Sweden? |
USA | This is the best news in ages. I
can hardly believe Commodore is finally going back to its roots. This is a great
day. |
Singapore | I am interested in anything
Commodore and Amiga |
Australia | nice looking forward to
more info |
France | Please keep me updated on the
availability of the phoenix. Is a delivery possible for France ? Thank you in
advance ! |
USA | Although I know it's not my C=
64 or C= Vic 20 which was my first computer I even learned to program on one of
the PET computers although I don't rember exactly which specific model I learned
on. I'm itching to get a hold of one of these. I hope you can make the market
BOOM and the price drops down. I rember when I gladly paid like $500 for my
first C= 128D with the extra 64K ram for the video. From the commodore I've
learned you can do a lot with a little bit of hardware. You guy's keep up the
good work. Long live the Commie! You may use my name in any advertising or
promotion you wish.z |
Italy | ok |
USA | I still have my original
Commodore 64 and several more to boot! Also have the 64C and several 128s. As
far as I know they all work and I used a C64 in 1994 as a means to run a packet
system with my HAM radio hobby. I made up a voltage level device to allow the
user's port to become a RS232 port. Being a machine that uses BASIC language,
they still can function. YES! I an interested in the NEW Commodore 64! thanks!

USA | WOW I can't believe Commodore is
back! Awesome! |
USA | on making that new Amiga with
Core I7 - I have questions. SSD drive option? More memory option (6-12GB?) Dual
video out? I prefer running two moniters. Consider a backlit keyboard? I really
love those. What video is built in? And of course, when, how much, and where can
I play with one? I went through 5 of the original Amigas and loved all of them.
As I use more NAS and less internal hard drive space, this looks like a pretty
good solution. |
Sri Lanka | It seems to be a nice
product. I like to receive more information on this nice product. |
Netherlands | Totally unexpected and

USA | There should be a c64/128 OS for
us old schoolers. |
Ireland | Hi! I'm very excited about
the new Commodore Amiga, having had the 500 and the 1200. I think it's a great
idea for it to feature modern PC hardware inside but retain the feel of the
original Amigas. The concept art looks great! I'm curious to know if the
keyboard of the new Amigas (and PC64s) will be adapted slightly to function
fully with Windows / Linux etc.? I love the feel and layout of the original
Amiga 1200 keyboard though - I certainly wouldn't miss keys like Scroll
Lock/Pause! It would be amazing if it featured a dedicated PCI sound card with
MIDI, keeping in the spirit of good artistic tools included compared to
typically lesser-featured PCs. I'm curious to know more, please send any
additional information about your upcoming products. Best wishes, Jack |
Puerto Rico | Nice to be back. |

The best thing would be an Amiga being able running AmigaOS, Ubuntu, MacOS and
Windows. Of course, a good price would be best! |
USA | Original Amiga 1000 owner (hacked
with extra memory). I got a big laugh over what you've done with the Commodore
64 and would buy one if I wasn't so much in love with the Amiga... |
Australia | Looking forward to having
one! cost may be the issue! |
USA | sign me up for news and updates |
Uruguay | I´am Amiga user. Also I have
my A4000 working. |
Australia | It's like I'm dreaming,
could this be real? The C64 was my introduction to the world of computing of
which I am now firmly embedded. My fondest memories are of typing full books of
code into the C64 with the expectations of a game at the end, only to find
syntax after syntax error because of typing mistakes. Also SSI's Dungeons and
Dragons games. Hehe. It's like finding out 3 more Star Wars movies are going to
be made. |
Australia | "I cant find my way back to
the Tavern, Rod wake up, I just killed 40 Dragons and need to get back to the

France | Hi, I want to use the classic
retro design of the original C64 new Amiga 500 :) When can I buy one in France ?
Bye Vincent- |
Sweden | Bring back the Commodore to
the market with the same feeling as in the past. C64, Amiga are some of the
products I want to see. But they must have their own operating system with the
same feeling but with today's technology. Win7, Linux or another will not do.
Aros may be fine but then it needs to become more and get an Amiga-sounding
names. If Amiga.inc have an operating system for the Amiga and again so maybe we
could develop it ready for the Amiga. C64 could get the same operating system,
but simpler. The only way to go today with x86 but the Amiga operating system
will only work on Commodore Amiga computers. If it is possible to run Windows
applications seamlessly on Amga with the Amiga operating system, it would be
even better. The market is open, here we go! |
USA | Owner of these old goodies: C64
Amiga 500 Amiga 2000 All operational. Yes, I do have a use PCs of the Desktop
and Laptop varieties and own them. I still prefer and enjoy the originals, They
were the best. Currently, VP of (name removed) computer club. Former VP of (name removed),
Commodore Home User's Group of (name removed). Also, part-time user of UBUNTU.
I would enjoy promoting Commodore Products. |
UK | Hi, When will the PC64 be

Italy | W commodore W amiga! |
USA | I am glad to see that the
Commodore 64 is coming back in a modern way. You should consider having Ingram
Micro carry your products so that many consumer electronic retailers will carry
your product. |
Sweden | PC64 looks to good to be true!

Polska | Nowa linia podoba mi si?
bardzo jako staremu u?ytkownikowi AMIGI |
Botswana | Always have a soft spot for
Commodore |
Canada | I would like to be updated
with your information. I was told Best Buy might be caring your products. Is
there anyway to find out if Best Buy Canada will? |
Netherlands | Looking forward to new
Commodore PC64. Still love my old one... |
Argentina | Hola. Quisiera saber si

USA | Good Luck! |
Brazil | I'd receive news about the new
Amiga computer. |
UK | Great to see this happening, let
me know when its all available in the U.K! |
India | A very nice product, interested
in promoting & selling it in India. Let me know if you have an offering. |
USA | I am hoping the Amiga's future
truly will be a good one - we have all waited for too long already. I find it
ironic though that when I used to be proud to own an AMIGA, I was ridiculed by
the WIndows crowd (until i showed them my machine), and now Commodore is selling
Windows 7 on this website. I also find it ironic that I am now using a
very-AMIGA-like, Mac OSX operating system (I refuse to be bogged down in with
Microsoft garbage - Amiga's spoiled me 25 years ago and showed me the continual
worthlessness of Microsoft products). How odd the times we find ourselves in! |
Netherlands | Great ideas you have!
Please keep me informed! |
UK | I am a retired military living in
england. I have been using commodore c64 since the early eighties. Your pc64 has
my interest. |
USA | Being an advid user of the C=64 /
C=128 / C= amiga 500 / 1200 / 3000 / 4000, however this all seems really
interesting to me. I have thought that in my passing years that it would be nice
to break out my ole C= and some software and geekout to the ole games. Infact i
do ahve a friend of mine tha tis at present tiem, DRULING over my 3000 adn my

USA | Interestd in PC64 |
USA | The "New Amiga" needs a working
relationship with Newtek Inc. Newtek products made the Amiga the leader in
analog video production in the 1990's. Portable cost effective Amiga based
digital media production tools for game and phone authoring are a must to make
the Amiga more than a vertical market "niche" computer. Recording and editing of
audio, video and animation effects for your phone that seamlessly uploads
content to a distribution sight like "YouTube"! This could put the Amiga on the
cutting edge again. Prosumer person to net production! |

their
covers. AMIGA RULES !!!!!!! Greetings |

USA | I spent my early youth learning
how a computer operates on Commodore Vic-20, C64, 128D, and Amiga 500. I took a
break and focus studies on midi and music composition. I am excited with the new
re-invisioned. I am looking forward to the oprrotunity as well as a software
test engineer with the audio test pipline with a leading copy in the world. As
musician and DJ I would love to have Commodre as part of arsinal. |

Brasil | Hello, Commodore USA. It is a
big and grateful surprise to know that the Commodore brands are being used in a
revival of the good times, even though a lot of failed and opportunistic
attempts were made since the original Commodore went bankrupt. I really love
"retrocomputing" and this surely involves the C64 and the Amiga (I own an
A600HD). You have interesting hardware proposals; I've been myself thinking
about all-in-one simple computers for a while -- not exactly little ITX PCs in
steroids, but however -- and I would like to be informed about Commodore USA
progresses. I hope I can help with some ideas and suggestions. Best regards! |
England | I am very, very interested in
